Our mission is to promote mental and physical well-being through art.
Aiming to:
(1) create a local supportive community connected by art
(2) promote the intersection of art and wellbeing
(3) give back to the local community
(4) provide equal access and equal opportunities to art.
Our Art Therapy initiative is unique because of the combination of art and medicine. Our art therapy uses drawing exercises and therapeutic reflection exercises. This method that uses art helps individual take their minds off worries, and become more calm and less stressed.*

Project HeART was founded by David Guo, a High School Student at BASIS Scottsdale, in Scottsdale, Arizona. He currently serves as the Founder and CEO of the non-profit organization.
Feeling stressed out is a modern issue that is widespread, in fact according to The American Institute of Stress, About one third (1⁄3) of people report feeling extreme stress. And many people do not have outlets, such as art, or do not know of outlets to relieve that stress. Thus, this inspires us to offer outlets to relieve stress for seniors through art therapy classes.
